Write for Knol Today
Knol Today is a blog-magazine – therefore, it needs multi-authors to run smoothly. A blog-magazine is never a one-man show.
I encourage you to join Knol Today as an author for these reasons:
- Knol Today allow you to have a resource box in every article you write, with 2 links allowed to point to your websites – the links are dofollows, meaning you will not only get traffic, but also receive all the link building benefits toward your sites.
- You have your very own author page, with your profile and posted articles list.
Here are the requirements to be Knol Today writer:
- None, except your interest on Google Knol (and the knols) and passion for blogging.
Here are the simple guidelines of posting on Knol Today:
- There is no minimum post requirement, but I expect you to post regularly and recommend you to post at least once a week or so.
- Posting length: 150-300 words is recommended.
- Topic: Anything related to the main category.
- Content: Basically, you need to blog on knols that not only interest you, but also most likely to interest Knol Today visitors. To highlight, my post on People Search knol is viewed by 170+ visitors a day – it’s a bit of guessing game, really… but watch the latest trends as your guide.
- Content #2: Link directly to the knol – avoid linking to other non-knol sites, unless you have a strong reason to do so…
- Content #3: Regarding writing tone, it’s pretty much like the knol itself – more formal than casual.
- Content #4: Don’t include any affiliate links, please…
- Images: You can add related images (you are not obliged to) using the media button. Regarding captions, don’t fill anything in it – the WP theme I use broke if I add caption
– Instead, please fill the alt=’[your image description]‘ – if this is a hassle for you, I’ll do it anyway
- Images: Use public domain images – i.e. those with a creative common license on flickr. Don’t forget to add attribution in the end of your post.
If you are interested to be one, please contact Knol Today with your intention, along with a short bio. That’s it!
Thanks, and I hope to see you soon as a Knol Today Author!
